Why You Should Consider Powder Brows

• Emphasizes your facial features
• Creates a defined brow shape
• Saves you time from drawing your brows in daily

Powder Brows is semi permanent makeup designed to create eyebrows using a shading technique performed with a machine, similar to a tattoo gun, to achieve a very natural soft powder effect.

This technique is great for all skin types and heals beautifully.

Hi, I’m Narindi, owner of Pixel Beauty. I specialize in powder brows and lash enhancement in Seattle. I am a certified permanent makeup (PMU) artist and an 18 year sales and marketing professional. I’m a mom of 3, run multiple businesses and hold multiple certifications in the PMU industry along with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics.

I was introduced into the world of permanent makeup when I became a client. I recall not knowing much about the industry but knew I was interested in saving time in my daily schedule and feeling more confident without applying makeup daily.

After my Powder Brow appointment, I remember this overwhelming feeling of confidence after seeing them. I knew I wanted to share this with others and decided to start my journey in the PMU industry and enrolled in the Beauty Angels Academy International program….

The two procedures are similar however they differ in technique, tools and end result.

Powder brow is done with a semi-permanent machine used to deposit pigment into your skin with a dotting and shading technique creating more of a soft “makeup look.” Without touchup, the end results last up to 2-3 years and will vary by age, skin care and other factors like exposure to sun. This technique is ideal for all skin types.

Microblading uses a manual tool similar to a small blade to deposit the pigment into your skin to create natural hairstrokes. The final look is more hair strokes and “fluffier” brow. This technique is not suitable for all skin types and should only be performed on clients with normal to dry skin. Without touch up, these will last up to 18 months.

Powder and Microblading costs roughly the same and healing time is the same.

Those who desire a soft makeup look. This technique is great for all skin types and ages (18+).

If you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, we do not recommend it. Please wait until you’re no longer breastfeeding/nursing/pumping.

If you have keloids or are prone to keloids

If you have HIV or Hepatitis

Doctors note required:

If you have serious medical conditions like cancer, epilepsy or autoimmune disease

If you have diabetes (must be controlled)

Bleeding disorders

Circulatory diseases

  • Day 1 to day 4, you can expect your brows to be darker than after you left your appointment
  • Day 4-7 You will start noticing their brows starting to scab, some more than others.
  • Day 8-13 You can expect their brows to be lighter
  • Day 14-28 You will see the color come back in your brows

Permanent makeup is a two-step process. Touch ups are scheduled 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment and it is to color correct, if needed and touch up areas after you are healed. This appointment is typically 90 mins depending on your healed results. Touch ups are $105.

I recommend booking this appointment when your brows are 60% faded.

On average, they last 2-3 years. They will vary depending on after care immediately following appointment, your age, your skin care products and how much exposure you have to sun. We recommend applying sunscreen to your brows to prevent UV rays from fading out your brows.
